For the 5th year, we are launching our annual food drive to help feed 1000 families from Flint, Pontiac, Highland Park, Detroit, Kalamazoo and Muskegon Heights for the Thanksgiving holiday.
In addition to our 5th annual food drive, we're excited to announce our 3rd annual fundraiser to support this cause, taking place at TV Lounge on Sunday, November 19th.
Tickets for the event promises 14 hours of non-stop music across 2 stages, featuring renowned guests such as Bruce Bailey, Delano Smith, Jmac, Rick Wilhite, and many more.

About Us
Our initiative
Recognizing that the economic impact of COVID-19 has taken a heavy toll on many families in southeastern Michigan, the Jive Turkeys are expanding their reach this year and will feed 1,000 families, totaling upwards to feed 10,000 people across Flint, Pontiac, Highland Park, Kalamazoo, Muskegon Heights, and the city of Detroit.

Jive Turkeys Detroit is a non-profit organization of more than 150 members whose motto is “Feeding families is what we do!” In years past, group members shopped, packed, and distributed food for Thanksgiving meals. This year, as they did in 2020, the group will be distributing turkeys paired with $40 gift cards to the 1,000 families to purchase the necessities for a complete meal.

Your involvement with Jive Turkeys Detroit is an opportunity for your organization to receive exposure and join other individuals, organizations and coalitions to educate others about the food shortage, promote healthy eating and create and strengthen community partnerships.
